摘要: This study extends research on dimensions of sexual minority experience by examining differences between bisexual and lesbian/gay adults in adaptation to orientation stigma. The authors investigated self-disclosure, connection community, 4 identity-related variables (internalized homonegativity, stigma sensitivity, identity confusion, superiority) a community sample 613 lesbian, gay, adults. Sexual effects were found 3 these 6 variables: Bisexual participants reported higher levels confusion lower both self-disclosure relative their peers. Taken together, the predicted indicators psychosocial functioning. Associations among functioning did not differ for participants.
