摘要: Abstract Phosphorus compounds in concentrated extracts of a range highly-weathered Karri forest soils were identified and quantified by 31 P-NMR. The prepared using chelating, cation-exchange resin preference to NaOH extraction as the former proved more suitable for use with NMR analysis. Concentrations alkali- or resin-extractable P this study about an order magnitude less than which have been used previous P-NMR studies soil-P. As age increased, proportion extracted-P present forms other inorganic orthophosphate also increased. Monoester-P was largest fraction extracted organic-P followed diesters, pyrophosphate traces polyphosphates phosphonates. Sugar phosphates (e.g. glucose-6-phosphate ribose-5-phosphate), well inositol-P choline-P, resonate at frequencies similar those measured soil monoesters. Buffered cation exchange resins may be useful future soils.
