摘要: Abstract The morphological structure of membranes prepared from two nearly similar systems consisting water/N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc)/polyethersulfone (PES) and water/N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)/polyethersulfone has been studied. morphology the showed that both exhibit an instantaneous liquid–liquid demixing leads to formation macrovoids in resulting structures. Nevertheless, macrovoid structures were contrary generally accepted concepts concerning formation. morphologies spite better miscibility between water DMAc, which must promote channel- finger-like structures, more sponge-like observed water/DMAc/PES system compared those water/NMP/PES system. To find source this unexpected phenomenon, complete ternary phase diagrams theoretical binodal curves, vitrification boundaries, gelation boundaries constructed for it was shown process occurs earlier other system, inhibits growth
