摘要: Current content-based publish/subscribe systems assume network environments with stable nodes and topologies. For mobile environments, one resulting problem is a mismatch between static broker topologies dynamic underlying This will result in inefficiencies event delivery, especially ad hoc networks where frequently change their locations. paper presents novel middleware approach termed opportunistic overlays, its dynamically reconfigurable support framework to address such introduced by node mobility systems. The overlay adapts dissemination structures (i.e., overlays) changes physical topology, nodes' locations, behaviors, the goal of optimizing end-to-end delays delivery. Runtime adaptations include construction clients' assignments brokers. Experimental results demonstrate that practically applicable performance advantages attained from use overlays can be substantial.
