摘要: Objective. The purpose of this paper is to review the current data on coexistence non-recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) and vascular variations. Methods. A systematic literature search was conducted MEDLINE for case reports, original articles reviews regarding presence non-RLN coexisting variants. Results. From search, 104 cases with confirmed variants were reported. More specifically, 97.7% (n=101) involved a right 2.3% (n=3) left non-RLN. most common concurrent variant reported an aberrant subclavian artery (97%; n=98). One report (0.9%) intrathyroidal carotid noted 2 (1.9%) associated normal anatomy. Furthermore, all 3 aortic arch, while them also accompanied situs inversus. Conclusions. variations great vessels must prompt surgeon Intraoperative neuromonitoring increases detection rate Further research required determine anatomic landmarks perioperative identification non-RLN, allowing its protection from potential injury.
