Privacy in the Era of Mobile Sensors: A Case Study on the Data Collection in ADAS and Autonomous Vehicles

摘要: Ever since the application of probe cars and instrumented vehicles for transport planning or driving behavioural studies, data collection in public road networks have become common. With availability Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) advancing Autonomous Vehicle (AV) deployment, more sensor-equipped will be available shortly due to their dependency on accuracy source, there can a serious privacy concern what gathered how cannot violated. An investigation is firstly needed identify those used, such as surveillance, misbehaviour reporting unauthorised large-scale fusion. In this paper, based collected by an vehicle, we examine content that ADAS AVs compare them other techniques public, including CCTV at intersections.
