Analysis and Planning of Bicycle Parking for Transport Stations

摘要: Guidelines for providing bicycle parking at transport interchanges in Australia remain inadequate to ensure patronage. The inadequacy stems from the generic as opposed definitive guidance on location of spaces and selection between devices. This is incapable addressing local needs individual stations. Therefore what proposed a segmentation study observed behavior, where subgroups parked bicycles are used explain preferences more specific manner useful heterogeneously implementing different finds that significant behavior differences exist sized stations also classes has implications placement infrastructure interchanges. Data was collected through counts thirteen Sydney’s (Australia) West Inner-West railway stations, varying size small major hubs.
