摘要: Nutrition is affected by numerous environmental and societal causes. This paper starts with a simple framework based on three domains: nutritional quality, economic viability, sustainability, calls for an integrated approach in research to simultaneously account all three. It highlights limitations the current understanding of each domain, how they influence one another. Five topics are identified: measuring domains (nutritional sustainability); modeling across disciplines; furthering analysis food systems relation domains; connecting climate change variability quality; increasing attention inequities among population groups domains. For be developed, there need identify disseminate available metrics, techniques, tools researchers, practitioners, policy makers. first step so that takes into potential trade-offs becomes norm analyzing nutrition food-security patterns. Such will help fill critical knowledge gaps guide researchers seeking define address specific questions their wider socioeconomic contexts.
