摘要: The regio- and stereoselectivity of some Paterno–Buchi reactions are studied within a density functional framework with B3LYP exchange-correlation energy 6-31G** basis set. It is shown that although in most cases the Minimum Polarizability Maximum Hardness Principles (MPP MHP) successfully predict major oxetane products these reactions, but all considered no exception, main have lesser electrophilicity values than minor isomers, therefore Electrophilicity Principle (MEP) correctly predicts stable stereoisomer reaction.
