摘要: Activated crystals of pillar[6]arene produced by removing the solvent upon heating were able to take up branched and cyclic alkane vapors as a consequence their gate-opening behavior. The uptake activated induced crystal transformation form one-dimensional channel structures. However, hardly took linear because cavity size is too large stable complexes with alkanes. This shape-selective behavior was further utilized for improving research octane number an mixture isooctane n-heptane: interestingly, dramatically improved from low (17 %) high (>99 %) using pillar[6]arene.
