Synthesis and Neutron Diffraction Study of Na3WN3 and Na3MoN3

摘要: The authors have used an ambient pressure method for the synthesis of ternary alkali metal nitrides to synthesize a new class nitrides, Na[sub 3]MN[sub 3] (M = Mo or W). These compounds were synthesized from nitride and NaNH[sub 2] at 500[degrees]C under flowing ammonia atmospheric pressure. structures examined using X-ray powder diffraction neutron found be identical with that obtained single crystal prepared high by Ostermann, Zachwieja, Jacobs.
