摘要: Humans have altered the land cover and biogeochemical cycles of Earth, with many implications for how study distributions organisms should change. A new biogeography Anthropocene could help to develop additional criteria evaluate degree timing human impacts, innovative ways proactively manage biological diversity. Many recent studies used paleoecological methods no-analog conditions in past, or modeling possible futures. Additional approaches are needed assessment prediction groupings species will function ecologically under future climatic landscape conditions, including studying effects biotic homogenization, extinctions, introduced species, ecosystem processes.
