摘要: Abstract The wettability and optical transmittance properties of hydrogen ion treated polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials were evaluated using contact angle, laser irradiation, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) tests. processed low-energy shower (LEHIS) produced by a gas discharge source (GDIS). duration treatment energy varied to determine their effects on the PTFE specimens. Mass spectrometry showed constituents be H+ H2+ species. Within bounds conditions, flux density for Hn+ beam measured minimum 0.06 A/m2 maximum 0.25 A/m2. Both one- two-way analysis variance employed assist in interpretation empirical data. Results that lower plasma currents (Id) improved material hydrophobicity with angles measuring high 115° while higher Id resulted enhanced hydrophilicity reducing down 61°. Transmittance found correlate, i.e., surface made more wettable became optically transmissive allowing as much 99% signal transmittance. Conversely, hydrophobic reduced light leakage low 60%. As increased striations, its transmittance, wettability, tension also increased. With no observable shifting IR-absorption peaks, modification was essentially morphological character.
