摘要: A theory of the Hall effect in two-dimensional electron systems subjected to weak periodic modulation background potential is presented. It shown that nondissipative current strongly affected by static polarizability, which responsible for nonmonotonic sequence quantum plateaus dependence on magnetic field strength. This polarizability quantized whenever Fermi energy lies within an gap.
