摘要: Immobilized growing yeast cells were prepared in kappa-carra-geenan gel. Gel beads containing a small number of incubated complete medium. The grew very well the gel and living per ml increased to over 10 times that free culture After gel, formed dense layer near surface produced large amounts ethanol. conditions for continuous production ethanol using immobilized investigated. supply appropriate nutrients growth was essential production. maintained at high level 109 medium 10% glucose carried out with retention time 1 h. In this operation, stable steady state longer than 3 months. concentration 50 mg/ml conversion utilized almost 100% theoretical yield.
