摘要: Similarities between the behavior of humans and other animals in analogous tasks suggest that simitar cognitive processes are involved. Human studies provide an efficient way to collect data with low variability, animal a large amount under controlled conditions, study wide range manipulations, limit plausible explanations, develop explanations terms brain mechanisms. Examples taken from timing used similar procedures for animals.
