摘要: Abstract We present a statistical analysis based methodology for making assessment of the manufacturing quality cross ply composite laminates as it relates to its effect on transverse cracking evolution. Assuming two-parameter Weibull distribution tensile strength plies represent randomly distributed defects, multiple crack formation in is simulated non-interactive and interactive regimes using local stress fields calculated by variational analysis. The demonstrated density evolution manufactured four different processing routes loaded monotonic tension axial direction. differences evolution, supposedly due defect population induced conditions, could be described proposed simulation method.
