摘要: Carbon nanotube–inorganic hybrid materials are a new class of functional that has gained tremendous interest in recent years due to their exceptional optical, mechanical, electrical and thermal properties. The hydrophobicity the carbon nanotubes's surface disfavours adsorption hydrophilic particles, thus limiting quality performance material. We demonstrate using benzyl alcohol as surfactant enables TiO2 interact with hydrophobic pristine CNTs without need covalent functionalisation. coating is strongly affected by various reaction conditions, including order mixing, choice drying method, water concentration. Furthermore, effect heat treatment on crystallisation amorphous anatase phase transformation from rutile discussed detail. key achievement this work control morphology structure and, after removal CNTs, nanotubes, which also allows production ideal CNT-TiO2 material for desired photochemical, catalytic sensor applications.
