摘要: This study examines the links between sexual identity and participation in political protests. Among a sample of college students (N = 2175), we determined that minority were three times more likely to join protest than heterosexual students. “Political distinctiveness” theories are used explain this gap protesting. Following series path analyses, conclude marital status, exposure discrimination (as victim or observer), connections LGB communities, groups, liberal identities mediate sexuality difference Conversely, measures educational attainment, multicultural classes, internalized homophobia not mediators.
