摘要: One of the most serious adverse reactions to benzodiazepines is their potential respiratory depressant effect on subcortical levels central nervous system. When used in accepted oral therapeutic dosage required for healthy patients, this drug does not usually produce any clinically significant depression and potentiate effects opiates. In addition, virtually no changes cardiovascular function. ~ Ataxia sedation develop only at doses above those anxiolytic effects. The reason that depress limbic system, which affects emotions behavior much lower dosages than drugs reticular activating system cerebral cortex. This fact gives a very wide margin safety between toxic doses.~ frequently reported following administration anxiety reduction include transient drowsiness, fatigue, ataxia. Paradoxical reaction, though rare, may occur manifested by excitement, hallucinations, rage. Discontinuation will terminate these reactions.~ aim report describe an unexpected reaction local anesthesia sedated patient during dental treatment order increase awareness possible side associated with situation.
