Growth rate of acoustic neuromas.

摘要: During the past 25 years authors have diagnosed over 1,600 acoustic neuromas. In almost all of cases surgery for removal tumor was performed shortly after diagnostic tests. However in 35 one or more follow-up imaging studies since patients refused surgery, not because poor general condition small size lesion, particularly individuals advanced age. latter group there a clear understanding that would be if study showed progression lesion. this paper review evolution cases, try to establish rate growth where became larger, and correlate patient's age clinical findings.
