摘要: Oxygen isotope analyses on minerals of a metamorphic profile from Hohe Tauern, Austria indicate that the oxygen isotopes coexisting quartz, garnet, and biotite have been reequilibrated during alpidic metamorphism. The K/Ar-ages these biotites are in range 20–30 my. Metamorphic temperatures can be calculated quartz-biotite quartz-garnet isotopic fractionations. temperature northern part region under investigation is 440° C increases direction to Tauernhauptkamm about 600° C. Indicated by petrographic investigations, two samples this area show no remarkable influence. K/Ar-determinations hornblendes yielded variscan ages.
