摘要: Science Gateways are virtual environments that accelerate scientific discovery by enabling communities to more easily and effectively utilize distributed computing data resources. Successful provide access sophisticated powerful resources, while shielding their users from the underlying complexities. Here we present updated work completed University of South Dakota (USD) Research Computing Group in conjunction with Community Institute (SGCI) [1] Center at Indiana set up a Gateway USD's high-performance We also introduce improvements system since previous presentation our work. These resources now available both faculty students allow ease use The implementation this gateway project has been multifaceted included placement federated user login, facilitation outreach, integration cyberinfrastructure as an example for other research groups so they may learn successes challenges have overcome providing resource. Additionally, serves exemplify importance creating broad base infrastructure through development alternative interfaces such Gateways.
