摘要: Staphylococcal nuclease and tudor domain containing 1 (SND1) is a protein that regulates complex array of functions. It controls gene expression through transcriptional activation, mRNA degradation, stabilization, ubiquitination alternative splicing. More than two decades research has accumulated evidence the role SND1 as an oncogene in various cancers. promoter cancer hallmarks like proliferation, invasion, migration, angiogenesis metastasis. In addition to these functions, it lipid metabolism, inflammation stress response. The participation such varied functions makes distinct from most oncogenes are relatively more focused their role. This becomes important case hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) since typical drivers, factors metabolism deregulation chronic can predispose hepatocytes HCC. objective this review provide summary current knowledge available on SND1, specifically relation HCC shed light its prospect therapeutic target.
