摘要: A case of scurvy occurred in an apparently well-nourished 5-year-old boy with normal growth parameters. Only after the diagnosis was raised on clinical grounds did we discover peculiar dietary habits that were responsible for his deficiency ascorbic acid. His is a reminder to clinician nutritionally based disease may occur any socioeconomic setting and nutritional screening remains important part every child's general health care.
