摘要: The aim of this work was to characterize the initial wear kinetics two different types glass ionomer cement used in dentistry (the conventional and resin-modified cement) under sliding friction after 28-day storing distilled water or Ringer’s solution. Sliding applied through a pin-on-disk tribometer, sphere-on-plane contact conditions, 5 N normal load 120 rotations per minute. test lasted 7500 cycles replicas were performed at 2500, 5000 cycles. A profilometer evaluate volume. Data analysed using Student’s -test significant level 5%. There is no statistical difference between results obtained for given material with maturation media (). However, medium, there are differences data materials each measurement rates both decrease continuously during running-in period 0 2500 After cycles, rate becomes constant equal materials. resin matrix contained weakens tribological behaviour material.
