Clinicopathological study of surgically treated cases of tracheobronchial adenoid cystic carcinoma

摘要: Between 1980 and 2007, five patients were pathologically diagnosed as tracheobronchial adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC). All women aged 37–67 years. Four tumors located in the larger airways, one tumor was peripheral lung. The following operations done: bronchoplastic procedures three (carinal resection with doublebarreled carinoplasty one, sleeve right pneumonectomy middle lobectomy one), left upper one. Three of have survived for 172, 144, 10 months after surgery, respectively. best local treatment ACC major airway is considered to be trachea or bronchus an area where reconstruction may not disturbed add postoperative irradiation when there residual at stump. However, it seems controversial recommend adjuvant radiotherapy all undergoing resection.
