摘要: Abstract Balochistan is prone to drought and has been impacted severely during 1998–2002. The people are engaged in orchard livestock farming activities for earning their livelihoods. main focus of this paper understand the perception understanding about by households, coping adaptive mechanism. This study based on both secondary primary sources data collected from 215 farm households following a structured questionnaire survey. results indicate that farmers' regarding climatic variability line with obtained using information. Even though respondents have religious belief interpreting weather related issues, environmental factors such as increased temperature, decreased precipitation, change timing rainy season, other like inadequate supply electricity irrigation, over exploitation groundwater, population growth etc were also recognized mentioned them aggravate severity area. As consequence drought, proportionate losses fruits production higher among poorer marginal land holding farmers. To cope they adapted number strategies at off-farm levels include crop water management practices, adjustment agricultural inputs, seeking employment, assets depletion, consumption smoothing, borrowing, migrating places seek alternative income. implies specific policy practice oriented solutions order adapt situation.
