摘要: Shallow fluidized beds (SFB) are studied in this paper as a paradigm for deep beds. We take advantage of their much simpler behavior to analyze dynamics with one-dimensional Eulerian-Lagrangian model. After validation available experiments, we examine how particle-scale collisional and hydrodynamic phenomena combine produce the overall SFB. Characteristic times governing particle's motion evidenced coupling fluid is also examined. As perspective work finally discuss implications SFB show that despite severe simplifications, model able reproduce temporal internal structuring similar nature bubbling
