摘要: The dental pulp is richly innervated by both myelinated (A-fibres) and unmyelinated (C-fibres) axons. A great majority of them belong to the C-fibre group. During their course from root apex coronal pulp, individual axons branch extensively finally form free nerve endings, mostly in pulp-dentine border area. Only inner 100–200 μm dentine innervated.
