Electronic conduction in polymers, carbon nanotubes and graphene

摘要: In the years since discovery of organic polymers that exhibited electrical conductivities comparable to some metals, other novel carbon-based conductors have been developed, including carbon nanotubes and graphene (monolayers atoms). this critical review, we discuss common features differences in conduction mechanisms observed these materials, which range from near ballistic conventional metallic fluctuation-assisted tunnelling, variable-range hopping more exotic mechanisms. For each category material, dependence on morphology sample.
