Moving closer to the fabric of organizing visions: The case of a trade show

摘要: This paper examines the fabric of authorized discourses about Information Technology (IT), i.e. ''organizing visions'' (OVs), through investigation discourses, practices, and sociomaterial contexts that make up their micro-social underpinnings. The case a trade show allows us to explore production everyday practices IT by gathering many parties involved in organizing visions. Through combination direct observations, interviews, pictures, documents survey, we identify analyze number related discourses. studied was not context which new buzzwords concepts emerged, but, rather, it setting where existing were repeated, refreshed, materialized. Our three main findings reveal intriguing relationships between contexts: (1) artifacts contribute enclose discourses; (2) aim at refining updating an discourse IT; (3) actors shows engage materialize artifact. research adds conceptualization dynamics OVs better understanding how they are affected multiple take place.
