摘要: The Delphi technique and an expert panel of general practitioners were used to identify geriatric dentistry core competencies--the necessary knowledge, skills, values new graduates meet the oral health needs older patients. Of 74 dentists solicited, 50 agreed participate, 40 returned two questionnaires. Respondents mostly male, white, in solo practice, with a mean age 51.6 (SD 7.4) years. first survey asked participants at least three topics that they believed be essential dental curriculum graduate competent who can effectively treat 45 unique responses second questionnaire rate importance each topic for inclusion curriculum. For 29 items describing respondents indicated how often performed skill their practices. Finally, considered all items, selected five most crucial topics. Overall, achieved good consensus as needed provide care
