摘要: Oral cancer is one of the most common malignant lesions head and neck. This an aggressive lethal disease with no significant improvements in overall survival last decades. Moreover, incidence oral HPV-positive tumors rising, especially young people. neoplasm develops through numerous molecular imbalances that affect key genes signaling pathways; however, mechanisms involved pathogenesis progression are still to be fully determined. In order improve quality life long-term rate these patients, it vital establish accurate biomarkers help early diagnosis, prognosis development target treatments. Such may possibly allow for selection patients will benefit from each therapy modality, helping optimization intensity sequence treatments decrease side effects survival. this review we discuss current knowledge potential role omics approaches identify improvement treatment prognosis. The pursuit mortality rates needs centralized on identification critical carcinogenesis. Understanding biology search new therapies, being molecular-targeted therapies promising patients.
