摘要: Spatial awareness is crucial for human performance efficiency of any task that entails perception space. Memory spaces an imperfect reflection the cognitive activity (awareness states) underlies in such environments. Furthermore, on these tasks may also be influenced by context environment. This research investigates effect stereo viewing object recognition after exposure to immersive VE, terms both scene and associated states. The simulation consisted a radiosity-rendered room was either populated objects consistent with office setting or primitive located similar positions. displayed head-tracked Head Mounted Display. Twenty-four participants across two visual conditions varying depth cues (absence vs presence cues) were exposed VE completed object-based memory task. Participants reported one four states following each response which reflected whether mental imagery induced during retrieval. Results revealed better environment vivid memorial experiences when space viewed stereo.
