摘要: A technique is described that permits the robust decomposition of bulge and disk components a sample Seyfert galaxies, as well (control) nonactive galaxies matched to Seyferts in distributions redshift, luminosity, morphological classification. The structural parameters host both samples are measured. No statistically significant differences at greater than 95% level found these according Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. "Companion galaxies"—defined any galaxy within projected separation 200 h-1 kpc from center host—are identified their basic properties comparison between active control apparent R magnitude, absolute magnitude (assuming companions distance host), host, position angle relative difference companion strength tidal parameter shows no differences. Similarly, terms light asymmetries—bars, rings, isophotal twisting, etc. implications for model which interactions mergers responsible inciting activity galactic nuclei discussed briefly.
