摘要: The current trend in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) tends toward the achievement of higher separation efficiency and shorter analysis time. Indeed, better LC has become increasingly important recent years mainly driven by challenges either analyzing more complex samples or increasing numbers per time unit. In development particle technology, use fully porous sub-2 m particles sub-3 shell have received considerable attention. Beside packed columns, new generation silica-based monolithic columns also offers very power. However, to take full advantage these innovative phases, chromatographic system be drastically optimized terms upper pressure limit volume. This revolution column technology now spreads covers several modes such as reversedphase (RPLC), hydrophilic interaction (HILIC), even supercritical fluid (SFC). HILIC SFC, which can considered alternative chromatography, could useful extend applicability towards lipophilic compounds, respectively. present review gives an insight about theory behind success presents a summary latest applications, using various one-dimensional (RPLC, HILIC, SFC). paper shows that theoretically expected sometimes compromised practical work especially case narrow bore columns.
