摘要: Zoonotic helminths that invade host tissues, particularly as larvae, generally have low prevalence rates in most areas of the world. Taken an aggregate, however, likelihood a human will be exposed to member this group parasites is not insignificant. This article covers specific agents or involved these zoonotic infections, their epidemiology, clinical aspects disease, and strategies for preventing controlling infection. Although all-inclusive, zoonoses discussed are trichinellosis, anisakiasis, angiostongyliasis, gnathostomiasis, infection with Baylisascaris. Except perhaps latter parasite, rest common feature: transmission through consumption raw undercooked food. For humans, food behavioral trait important risk factor, factor very difficult, from public health perspective, alter. In fact, demand lightly cooked food, especially fish, increasing global phenomenon, ensure persists unless new approaches control introduced.
