摘要: Recent advances in science enable new and closer insights into brain structure function. The extent of CNS damage due to ischemia, or neurodegeneration can be followed by the use modern imaging technology such as positron emission tomography (PET) single-photon computed (SPECT) radiolabeled tracers. Ex vivo systematic gene expression arrays is becoming more important select sensitive genes targets for neuroprotection. And therapy considered an alternative approach trigger neuroprotection experimental models neurodegeneration. At same time these technologies pave their way, promising pharmacological intervention concepts halt disease progression Parkinson’s Alzheimer’s disease, diminish ischemia reperfusion injury, have emerged.
