摘要: Photorefractive materials exhibit an interesting plasticity under the influence of optical field. By extending finite-difference time-domain method to include photorefractive effect, we explore how this property can be exploited in context neuromorphic computing for telecom applications. first priming material with a random bit stream, reorganizes itself better recognize simple patterns stream. We demonstrate by simulating typical reservoir setup, which gets significant performance boost on performing XOR two consecutive bits stream after initial step.
