摘要: Abstract : The strain softening phenomenon in poly(styrene-b-butadiene-b-styrene) and its blends with polystyrenes were investigated by means of electron microscopy small angle x-ray scattering. Samples cast from mixed solvents tetrahydrofuran methyl ethyl ketone (90/10 volume). structure these samples consist randomly oriented alternating lamellar domains the two components. Their mechanical behavior is plastic-like that they exhibit yielding necking when first stretched to around 200%. After has propagated throughout, show typical rubber-like behavior. This may be called induced plastic-to-rubber transition, believed occur as a result structural changes fragmented PS dispersed PB matrix.
