Adaptive process for the coding and decoding of a sequence of pictures by transformation and devices for performing this process

摘要: This process uses a bidirectional transformation by blocks for images representing highly animated scenes and also differential coding of the coefficients when pictures show slightly scenes. The device mainly comprises cosine device, subtractor, inter-image decoding multiplexer, discriminating showing latter controls multiplexer. subtractor make it possible to calculate difference between each coefficient homologous block in preceding picture. Moreover, weighting makes transmit with larger number bits or differences corresponding low spatial frequencies images.
