摘要: We demonstrate the use of a light-emitting diode (LED) based experimental setup for collecting polarization-resolved Raman spectra with good spectral resolution. The combination commercial red LED (630 nm), 1-nm bandwidth laser-line filter, and polarizing prism is used as light source. Polarization-resolved in dimethyl sulfoxide are recorded compared corresponding laser-Raman spectra. LED-excited exhibit resolution slightly lower than those laser case but still close to spectrometer. All relevant features including symmetric antisymmetric stretching modes CSC moiety resolved providing approximately 20 cm−1. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
