摘要: The Energy Performance of Buildings Directives (EPBDs) are political initiatives taken by the European Union to tackle problems climate change and security energy supply. One key measures these directives is performance certification housing, which has widespread social economic implications, as well potential impact upon direction their environmental consequence. This research focused on application Certificates (EPCs) housing in Mediterranean regions Europe, with purpose establishing whether current calculation methodologies use for generation EPCs accurately represent region. analysis was carried out comparative testing using different national from Cyprus, Italy, Malta Spain four test case properties. results were validated against output dynamic simulation software monitored temperature data Considerable differences outputs various currently found.
