摘要: THE EFFECTS OF TGF-1 AND IL-33 ON MAST CELL FUNCTION By Victor S. Ndaw, B.S. A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for degree Master Science Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University. University, 2015 Major Advisor: John J. Ryan, Ph.D., Professor TGFβ is involved many pathological conditions, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and cardiovascular allergic diseases. We have previously found that can suppress IgE-mediated mast cell activation human mouse cells vitro. a recently discovered member IL-1 family capable inducing responses enhancing activation. In this study, we investigated effects on IL-33-mediated Bone marrow-derived cultured -1, -2, or -3 showed reduced production TNF, IL-6, IL-13 MCP-1, concentration-dependent manner. Furthermore, also expression T1/ST2 receptor as well TAK1 ERK phosphorylation. TGF-s1 injection suppressed systemic inflammatory cytokines vivo. The role pathogenesis diseases incompletely understood. These findings, consistent with our reported activation, demonstrate provide broad substantial inhibitory signals to activated cells.
