Investigation on the magnetic and electrical properties of fluorine-doped magnetites

摘要: A fluorine-doped magnetite was synthesized using ferroferric oxide (Fe3O4) powder and ammonium fluoride (NH4F) as starting materials by a hydrothermal method subsequently annealing in vacuum atmosphere at 1450??C. The content of fluorine dopants measured x-ray electron spectroscopy. When an oxygen atom replaced atom, it would introduce one excess to reduce Fe3+ ion Fe2+ tetrahedral site for charge compensation, leading large variation magnetic electrical properties. appearance ions the sites caused decrease spin moment, resulting increase Land? g-factor between 110 200?K, susceptibility range 10?350?K. At same time, electrons may escape turn into new carriers presence bias field, reduction resistance from 30 292?K.
