摘要: Current research on the origin of life aims at finding simplest entity that can undergo spontaneous Darwinian evolution toward increasing replication efficiency. Here I consider some models self-replicating molecular systems, and show they exhibit a distinct feature, namely, an infinity stationary states forming continuous curve; i.e., are only marginally stable. that, in stable chemical thermodynamic fluctuations induce drift directed This represents form evolution, taking place slowly, cooperatively, macroscopic volumes water.
