摘要: A 3 W average power CO2 laser oscillating in the range of 4.3μm (10°1 to 10°O transition) is described. At same time, can emit 100 sequence band 00°2 10°1 (10.6μm). It based on a commercial system with continuous-wave discharge 12 m length and slow gas flow. operates Q-switched mode at pulse repetition rates up 15 kHz. The peak 1 kW duration 200 ns. deviation from theoretical efficiency limit has been decreased by factor 2.5 our device, due saturation pumping (sequence band) radiation. We predict an improvement another 5 (possible 10 20 W), if one avoids absorption discharge-free zones.
