摘要: Abstract This study was conducted to evaluate yield and components of saffron ( Crocus sativus L.) in response (i) production system (PS) (irrigated vs. non-irrigated); (ii) corm size (CS) (medium −2.25 3 cm diameter small corms −2 69 corms m ). fully replicated multifactorial design started August 2000, carried through November 2003, when the fourth harvest took place. The total average fresh weight stigmas, number flowers were measured at each harvest. Results indicate that three four factors tested (PS, CS PD) had a significant effect on quantitative during two most productive flowering years (2001 2002) flowering. Irrigated cultivation, medium 10 cm planting depth greatest increasing saffron. Yield also affected by density contrasting ways. Whereas high PDEN increased per unit surface, low PDEN, with respect initial planted. stigmas flower component, an important aspect determines quality spice, enhanced planted 20 cm irrigation applied crop.
