摘要: To evaluate the effect of levels serum bilirubin on morbidity and mortality after pancreatoduodenectomy, a prospective study was designed to compare patients who underwent preoperative biliary decompression those did not. Preoperative decreased mean level from 15.8 5.8 mg/dl in one group 10 (Group A). The only statistical differences between this two other groups (Groups B C) were not treated with before pancreatoduodenectomy (5.8, 22, 1.3 Groups A, B, C, respectively). Only death occurred each patients. numbers nonfatal complications comparable. These results suggest that there is no decrease or when by drainage.
